Regarding property issue of my father

My father and his elder brother has jointly bought some land approximately 4acre and my ancestral property approximately 1.5acre were transferred to my dad brother.. because in that time both were in joint family so my dad decided to make property in one so that when it's needed we can divide. Now my dad is asking to divide the property but he is not willing to divide, now he s telling that these all properties belongs to me bec all records is in my name do what ever u want I won't give anything to u... So can u please suggest me what we can do to get our property back.. all records are in his name

You can file a suit for partition against your father’s brother (your uncle). It can be proved on the ground that 1.5 acres is ancestral and you have a right on it. We can also prove that the current property is purchased out of the income from the ancestral property and hence this is also ancestral.
