regarding my mother want her share in maternal grandfather's property

My maternal grandfather has died in 2004(but the property is still not divided).Also, my mother has filed a title suit in 2006, but could not continue due to financial issue.Till now the property is not divided.And her brothers are forcing her to quit(also her sister in laws have filed dowry case to torture and force her to quit,stating otherwise she will live the rest of her life in jail).My mother want her share in the property.what should she do?

yes your mother can claim her share from her ancestral property. after amendment in Hindu property Act in 2005 every daughter has equal right in the ancestral undivided property to the son. you just file a partition and declaration suit alongwith Injunction application under Order 39 of cpc in the civil court.
pl contact a good and experienced advocate for yout case as civil cases are complicated cases and it need an experienced Advocate to fight.
