Regarding Dan Patra (gift deed) Is the male are eligible or not?

I need to know that, usually Dan Patra can be given to ladies, but is it the male persons are eligible to get dan patra legally?
there is no prohibition against anyone executiving giftdeed in favour of a male whether young or old. sacche gift will be perfectly legal if other conditions are fullfilled. if it is between relationship within the definition of a family out of natural love you can save in registration charges.
