Recent interpretation of Apex court related to 24/2, its impact

17-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi there, I own a land in commercial complex in Delhi - we won the case as per 24/2 first in high court and later in Supreme Court and even DDA recently loses review petition in Supreme Court where the apex court ruled the decisions in our favour on the basis of merit as well as delay by DDA and this decision was rendered by none other the current CJI of India. What I would like to know is that the recent verdict of Supreme Court on land acquisition under 24/2 would imply on cases which have been final by the Supreme Court itself. What legal steps should I take to get my mutation done by DDA which must be binding on them as they are just abiding the time since November 2016 the day I won my case in high court and later in Supreme Court. Plz guide me.

Since you have got the favourable judgment in your favour. The supreme court has power under article 141 and 143 which is the Apex power. Therefore, that decision will be biding on the DDA and public at large. Now, since you have got the judgment, go for mutation by taking the certified judgment from SC and then apply through it. You don't need nothing except this.
