Query perused. In India a Will written on a piece of paper is valid. As per the Indian Registration Act Will is not required to be registered. It is optional. However, it should be signed by the teststor (i.e., your mother) and attested by 2 Independent Witnesses. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.
