Can wife do will on her husband's property, after her husband 's death? She is not the owner of the property. Her husband was the only owner.
Yes. She can. If her husband was the sole owner then after the death of her husband she can execute a will regarding her inherited property only. If there is other legal heirs then she can make will only over his share.
Thank you.
Thank you.
As the only owner of the property after the death of the husband the property would devolve upon the legal heirs of the husband, i.e. the wife and living sons and daughters. the wife will be the owner according to the law of succession. she can make will in respect of her share of the property of her husband which she gets after the death of the husband.
