Property Transfer Rights Query

Dear si/madam,
Request you to confirm on following query related to Transfer of property to my wife's name.
Currently I hold 1BHK property in Chembur @ Mumbai which I would like to transfer under my wife’s name solely. What would be the Legal, Registration procedure on the same? Would there be any tax liability to me in case of future rent? Also in future if redevelopment happens whether the property, share certificate would be in wife's name. Pls let me know the procedure to execute changes as above or anyother charges associated to it.

1. You can execute a Gift Deed in her favour;
2. You can also then make a POA in your favour;
3. The stamp duty and the registration will have to be paid;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
