Property share for daughter, father nominated son in all assets.

My father took no objection certificate and power of attorney from me with the understanding that I would get half of everything while other half would be given to my brother. Now I have come to know that my brother is the nominee in all his assets.
My mother has passed without any will and all her property is being given to my brother too.
Do I have any right to claim my share?
