Property dispute with uncle

Respected Sirs & Madams, we have an ancestral plot in a village, on which my father had built a house almost 45 years ago on half plot of the area and later on in the year 2001, my uncle transferred the whole plot on his name , showing I have bought this property , and he built a house on rest half of the plot. we asked him to give our half plot on my name , he does not agreed, as we have possession on the property since 45 years, please advice in this case, thanks Prashant
