Property dispute between me and MIL

I am a Hindu widow and resident of Uttar Pradesh.My mother-in-law had two sons only. My husband died in 2014.Now She has only one son who is living with her and he has also one son.My MIL has a house in her name and a plot and few FD's.This property was self acquired by my father-in-law who also died in 2008.What can be my son's share in this property as everything is in my Mother-in-law's name.I have a son only.

on the above mentioned queries you will file case for partition in the concern Court . if the property belongs to your father in law that is the father's self acquired property then the 2 share have been done . it means your and your son's share on the basis of succession of your husband and your father in law . so please file immediately the suit for partition .

What the status of your father in law? If your father in law died than all property of his devided in 1/3 . On part for your mother in law rest two part his sons. You can claim those property . If your father in law died without any will. Without your mother law's concept you can't get her property that she hold as owner.
