Property claim by aunt(fathers sister) children's

09-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi.. My father bought a property in his name and my grand mother name added. My grandmother passed away and my aunt made a claim in court and got 1 share out of 3 as judgement. But they never claimed, my father passed away first and my aunt passed away. So my aunt daughters are claiming money settlement. Are they eligible for claim legally. We are in the property for more than 30 years and all tax paid are in our names.

As far as your aunt's share of property is concerned, the legal heirs of your aunt are eligible to get their respective shares. If they are ok with money settlement, then you can very well settle them legally.
