11-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello.... I'm Raj.... My father died 19 years ago.... I have His death certificate and other proofs..... Im his only son .... My father have one brother and he have two sons... So my grand mother is living with them.... And I'm in Malaysia from 5 years..... Im already 23 years old.... So the property must be divided between me and my cousin brothers equally..... But my grandmother somehow gave them my share of property also..... Is there any way to claim that property.... Plz reply with all the details .... Thank you soo much
Yes, you have an equal claim over the ancestral property. You can file a suit under the Hindu Succession Act, to claim your share. In case of a Joint Hindu Undivided Family, you should file a partition suit for right over the property
