Plant in property one want to save another want to cut down it

There are palm tree and other trees in my property since 60 years ,other persons property is located near my property , a schedule caste person build his house in his land which is very nearer to my land recently , he said to me to cut all the trees in my land which may harm to him by wind. I am from general community ( caste) the other person is from schedule caste (SC) both are Hindu by religion,what is the law in this matter. Please suggest me about this matter.
