Person wants to claim the property which is already sold by his father

Dear Sir, My father had purchased the 8 dec from X person in the year 1986. X person is expired. Now we came to know that this property was minor's property that sold by his father as guardian without court order. In the year 1986 minor's age was 6 years. Due to economical problem his father sold this property to X person. Now the minor's age is 38 years old. Can he claim this property from my father? Kindly help us.

If the purchaser of the property was under an impression that the property belonged to the father only then the transfer cannot be held invalid. However, as far as the transaction is concerned the minor can claim his right and may pray for cancellation of the transfer on his part .
