Other party claiming on land by showing 30yrs old registered sale deed

Hi,
A person is claiming on some portion of my land.
Currently that land has no construction.
According to person his father bought the part of land from my father in 1988 and registered with sub registrar.
As per the 7/12 extract the land owner was my father and after his death in 1997 I have transferred the property on my name. So till today I was paying all property tax and also I did not know that my father sold some part of my land.
I need guidance on this matter.
You can file injunction suit against that person in court.
If effect of 30 years old sale transaction did not given then now it cannot be considered by court.
Therefore you should have exclusive possession of your on that property.
