Nomination Query of Father's flat

My father expired in 2009 without nominating the flat.My mother expired in 2012 after making a nomination on my name but the society has rejected it saying that since the father had not nominate anyone,she cannot be a member.My brother expired in 2018 leaving behind his son & wife.Can someone please guide me on this issue.

You have to apply for succession certificate for the said property than only you can transfer the said property, supreme court have clearly kept a guidelines stating that the flat can be transferred only if you obtain a probate/succession certificate/ LA where the will is not made and society is not transfering.
Still after you get your court order society does not transfer you can take society to cooperative court.
