Need suggestion for recovery of money for a land dispute

I am an serving in Indian Army, I had purchased a plot in Hyderabad for Rs 500000, and made agreement notary, the land came in double registration, before buying I had asked to sub registrar through RTI that it is ok to purchase or have any litigation, he replied ok then only I had purchased land, now due to dispute the vendor had told to return the amount, but it is near about an year, he is just extending the date, I had paid Rs 2 lakh by cheque and 40K by IMPS and the remaining amount through cash but in agreement I had mentioned the whole amount, I had approached the tehsildar, sub divisional magistrate and the district collector from my office, they enquired the matter and given in writing that if I want my money back i can file a cheating case against the vendor or if I want to protect the land can go to court being private land, sir my doubt if I file an suit regarding recovery of money can I get my whole amount i.e 5,00,000 or the amount mentioned in registration documents
to win in recovery of money suit, you need to prove that your vendor had prior knowledge that there is some cloud over the title of the property.
You can ask for the amount mentioned in the registration deed along with interest and in addition for damages to an extent of 5 lakhs. Court fee will increase.
