My sister claim 50% right in parental property

12-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi I'm leaving in a house which is partly in my name and partly on my mothers name who passed away in 1999. Does my sister have any right to get her share in this property according to property Act2005.

Dear queriest if the property is the ancestral property yes your sister can demand the share out of the property under the property act 2005. But if you can able to prove that the property has been derived from your personal income and but out of love and affection you have registered the property on your mother name there are chances that your sister will not able to get the share from the property in question.
