My father died 4 yrs back without will. Now , all self acquired properties of my father got divided 1/3. But, i don't want property because of some disputes with my wife. I also didn't have any children. Can i make gift deed to my mother's name?

Yes! You’re free to make this move. Execute a gift deed in favour of your mother and by this move, all the self acquired properties which you have inherited from your father, will pass on to your mother.

The Income Tax Act defines a relative as a person who is a family member. 4. Create a gift deed that is legally binding and register it. Mention the same in your property documents.
