mismatch of area in sale deed and mutation

We purchased a property and after registering the deed we went to get mutation doc in our name ,but got to know that are in revenue records are less then what is mentioned in sale deed.So to get mutation in our name we need to submit agreement stating the diffrence in area in both docs. Will there be any prob in selling this property

You can get correct the sale deed by executing suoolimentary sale deed or you can get transfer the area which your seller have in record. You can recover the money from your seller of the excess land. You can only get mutated the land in your name upto the extent which your seller have in recprd
