Legal ownership of ancesteral land

19-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
I have ancestral property on which our house is constructed. The land was purchased by my grandfather and it is in my grandfather name only. The property is nazul plot and patta( in green paper) has not been made for the property. Now my grandfather has expired since 45 years and my father's family along with his 3 sons and 4 daughters (including me) has been staying in the house ever since, i.e for more than 45+ years. Now I am to get the land after partition between our 3 brothers. The partition is verbal only and due to nazul plot no agreement has been made. Our grandfather had 4 son and 2 daughter. Now I want to know what option do I have in case someone files claim for the property in which we are staying. What legal options do I have and what remedy can be done to transfer the property in my name along with making of proper patta. Religion- Hindu
