If my husband wants to sell our jointly owned property and I don't want to sell. Can he force me to sign power of attorney? If i dont sign a power of attorney, then can he move to court for partition lawsuit? If yes how much time it will take and what are chances for case to b in his favour if all emus have been paid by him. I was taking care of other expenses in family. He had forced me to take few personal loans and I am still paying those emis. I m fifty percent owner of that property. What shoukd i do in case i dont want to sell
Query perused. I would advise you to engage a lawyer and issue a legal notice to him. You can also file an injunction suit restraining him to sell the property. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.
Hi, no one can without your consent take your right in the property share like that.
He would definitely be going to Hon'ble Court to get the share sold off.
You shall not worry. You may initiate a proper case if he is compelling you to sign power of attorney.
