Illegitimate child's right to acquire a share in the father's property

Religion: Hindu .My father had a daughter with a already marriaged women which this happened before my father marriage with my mother.After this she went to her husband by leaving her daughter with my father. my father take care of his daughter and marriage to her.After 10 yrs his daughter came to my father and demanded the property in my father's property.Really,she has a right in property.
Whether the daughter is legitimate or illigetimate, but she is the daughter to your father. If the property of your father is acquired from ancestors, then the daughter has right to claim over the property. If the property is the self acquired property by your father, then no one can right to claim over the self acquired property of your father. The father has absolute right to do according to his will and wish.
