My mother has a plot. A poor family has been living on it for years and have opened a small shop. Can they claim the ownership of the property? and if yes then what precautions can we take?
Hello Sir I have perused your query. In these circumstances they can claim the title by way of adverse possession. You have an option of sending them a legal notice to vacate the premises. If they fail to vacate the premises then you can file a suit in a competent court of law for eviction.
