i need to transfer property on my name

sir i m a widow and have 4 daughters(3 are married) and one son . i m living in my house since i get married. i have 4 sister in laws (3 are died) and their kids are married and and they have grand children also. Now my house need renovation work but i do not want to renovate it i want to sale it out but every body is asking me that i can not sale my house as i dont have any will of my father in law (died in 1988) so i need to give share all his chidren or their grand children without their consent i cant sale this property please let me know can i sale or not?
No you can't sell it as of now. You have to seek succession certificate by filing a petition under section 372 of the Hindu Succession Act . One a succession certificate is granted you have to get the property mutated in your name. Only after that you can write a will and give share to your children or sell it off.
