How to transfer property through will to beneficiary

My mother made registered will in favour of her son's, now after her death son want to transfer property in their name as per will.what is the easiest way to do so?

You need to file probate case before the court in which they will declare you the absolute owner of the property and you will get all of your rights on the same it is the easiest way to transfer property in your name.

there are two ways of doing this:
either you get the probate of the WILL and then apply for mutation of the property in your name or you can get a legal heir certificate from SDM and then apply for mutation since your WILL is registered. THe second option is a bit faster process as the court proceeding are not involved as in the probate of the WILL.

Sir,
You should file a probate case to legally transfer the property in your name. If the property is DDA property you can also file an application to transfer that property in your name. In Delhi probate is not necessary.

The easiest way to get the property transfered in the name of the son is to file a probate petition under the succession act. The same shall be filed in the appropriate court looking into the value of the property.

Execution: In order to transfer any movable or immovable property via a will registered, the will needs to be executed according the law. The testator (the person who makes the will) must sign it in front of two witnesses.
