How to retrieve century old land documents of ancestral property.

I have ancestral property @Hennur cross. My Father at very young age moved to Mumbai for perusing career. After expiry of my grand father , his brothers have possession of ancestral property. When my father retired and came back to bangalore and asked his share , his cousins denied his share. When we took RTC copy in that my grand father and my fathers name is not reflecting. Even i dont have proper survey no's of Land because now its occupied by BDA. How to get old Land records and also type of docs in which i can find my grand father and his siblings name.
Through Sale / Tittle deed of the property you can assertion the Survey Number of the Property, then you apply ofr encumbrance certificate from the Sub-Registrar Office and also Land Records from Taluk Office, then ascertain from BDA to whom the compensation is paid.
