How to respond to legal notice regarding a property dispute

23-May-2023 (In Property Law)
We have bought a land in 2015. We have also gave notice in newspaper that nobody has any objections for this land acquisition. Yesterday I received legal notice from a person. This person is claiming that when his mother was dead his name was removed from land. We bought a land from a person whose mother and this legal notice sender mother were sisters. We are completely unknown to this matter so we bought the land. Suddenly after 2-3 'dastavej' this person woke up. Is there any problem to us?

hi,

You need to check how is the son of the deceased claiming the tittle of the land ,
you need to check how and under which rights the property was transfered to the seller and in what capacity they have sold you the land .
If they are not having good tittle of the land at the time of selling of the land , they can not transfer good tittle to third party as it is settled law that no one can pass a better tittle of the property than what he is enjoying .
please check in what capacity they have sold the land to you , if any fraud is done please file a complaint about this to the local police station and registrar office too ,

Thanks
