How to get share according to investment in ancestral property
20-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
I have some ancestral property in which my father contributed large amount of money in acquiring this property but my uncle did not pay any single penny. So please tell me during partion of property my uncle will get equal property same as my father? Can my father get the share according to which he had paid during purchase of this property?
Ancestral property always deemed to be joint unless it is proved that part of it has been purchased by own fund by the person who wants to claim that part. As such your father has option to prove before the court that part of the property was purchased by his separate fund.
