How to get partial advance money from the ex-land lord

I vacated from a house 3 months back and the land lord gave the partial amount of advance while leaving and remaining amount he is not yet given. I keep on asking him but he is telling reasons. I have the rental agreements with me. How Can I process him legally? Please help me
