How to claim share in grandfather's property?

Sir/madam, my father has two brothers. one of them died in childhood . Other one died in 2002. my fathers grand mother registred her property in the name of my father and his brothers in 1986. When my uncle died in 2002 after we noticed that all this whole property registered in the name of my uncle only secretely with out consulting my father.from that time to till now my father neglected this issue.few days back, we consult my uncles family and they replied that they don't give any part of this property to my father.
