01-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
My wife and me are intercaste married, she had only one sister(older) and she also married to someone belongs to their caste by their parents.but she is trying to claim the whole property from their parents. Is that possible to her? Some of the property is ancestral and some of it is self acquired by her father. What is the right of my wife and how can she proceed against her sister and how to claim her share from them. Please tell me

your wife have a equal right in the ancestral property and to claim the same your wife has to file partition suit, as for as the self acquired property of your wife parents Is concerned untill their life time they have absolute right to transfer as per their will.
