How to claim a share in the paternal property in case of threat

I (Hindu) am residing in Hooghly District West Bengal. We are 5 brothers and 5 sisters, Father died in the year of 1997. I have failed to claim my paternal properties from brother till date as they are threatened to attack on me and my wife. How will I proceed.

As a hindu you have 1/10th share in your father's property. So, send letters to all the other co-shareers (Both brother & sister) for parting your share. If they disagree you can file a suit for partition against them.
