How to cancel the booking in a developers project

Ok sir or madam let me start from the start.my dad had been searching for a property and he found one at shamshabad location named as fair city group and some lands were of dad's friend and he decided to buy one on monthly payings basis and it was decided for 12 months equally payed months.but certainly my family conditions becomes "not so good" so, we had only paid for 6 months and let the remains for an year or so,and after a while dad's friend denying for a refund of that amount .by saying that pay full amount and take the whole land.but we are not in aa condition to pay that. also need that money so badly ,so "what can we for this?".
You have not mentioned whether you have entered into any Agreement or MOU relating to purchase of land and payment of installments. If there is any agreement, it is better to find out a third party purchaser and enter into a tripartite Agreement (Agreement with three members). The third party purchaser will pay to you (6 months payment) and the balance will be paid to the original owner. For further details contact me through Lawroto.
