Hindu succession act whether an inherited property can be leased
18-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
my late grand father purchased some property and died without will. property is now in joint possession of histwo sons ( my father and uncle) and no family settlement is done till date. this property is leased out to public sector undertaking under the signatures of my late father and uncle. my question is whether this lease of property can be challenged as this was done without our ( grand daughters) consent/agreement consent/agreement
The property papers need to be seen. In whose name is the property registered? who is getting the lease amount after your father’s demise? lease deed will also have to be examined. You may get in touch for a consultation.
