11-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
We are belongs to muslim sunni family my grandmother don't want to give her property to his grandson.some times ago she wrote her will to my father(her son) that my father will only the legal heir of her will after her death but unfortunately my father has died before my grandmother now my granny do not want to give her property to her grandson i want to know that is there any grandson right to raised his voice against grandmother or not ? because she want to give all the property her daughter
There was no property registered in the name of your father till his death. Under the Muslim Law of Succession, you are only liable to the property of your parents. Your grandmother’s children are the first legal heirs of her and they would have the right before you.
