Grandfather wrote will , brother died how to share property now
25-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
MY grandfather wrote a will to me and my brother in 1981 and he passed away in 1983. Later my brother passed in 2008 and he was unmarried. Now I have only one sister is left with me and she is married. So how umarried brother property will be shared? Please note that my sister name was not present in Will.
Is the Will is registred one? If yes then as per Hindu Succession Act property will go to Class 2 hiers i.e between you and your married sister as there is no class 1 heirs. If the Will is not registered then there will be issue.
