Grandfather died interstate does step wife of uncle has share property

12-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather died intestate. He had two sons and three daughters. The elder son has two sons and three daughters. The younger son has one son and one daughter from deceased wife and one son from the alive step wife. Does the step wife and step son of my uncle have any right in my grandfather's property? And also do my grandfather's daughters have any right in the property? The elder son of my grandfather has been looking after house and maintaining it from many years.

Technically all branch of legal heirs of the grandfather have equal share. However, in the case of married female, she will have share only if both the father and the married female were alive in 2005. It is not material who is looking after the property if otherwise the same is a joint property.
