Grand mothers property among children

Grand mother has 4 sons and two daughters.my father is first one and older among others.so our family lived with grand mother in her house.she died in 2014.my father is paying house tax in his name since 1996.she died without writing any will.since 22 years my father is paying house tax in his name,does he has possession on house other than my grand mothers children or do they also have equal possession rights?

the adverse possession will exist only if any dispute arises and then the claim was no made within 20 years from the date of dispute then the adverse possession will exist and your grand mother was died in the year of 2014 so the cognizance shall appear after the death of your grand mother so from 2014 you need to calculate 20 years for barring limitation and claiming adverse possession
