Get House no after Land registration

The land we are buying has a newly built house but the house no is not obtained/registered. The ownernis saying we can register the land 1st and then obtain House no. Is this fine?

yes. but it must be mentioned in the document deed that there is partly completed house in it. and it's right is also transferring. registration charge will increase if you showing house number. but at first you enquire in the municipality/ panchayats if there is any difficulty in obtaing building numbr
