Flat Allotment Cancellation Agreement.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently got my allotment cancelled due to delay from builder's side.
The cancellation and refund agreement was prepared on legal paper and stamped and signed by developer.
My query is if this agreement is sufficient or I should have got it on stamp paper and as well notarise it.

For cancellation of any instrument you and builder must have enter into registered instrument and that instrument or agreement must have registered with sub Registrar Office.It is the proper way to.cancellation of agreement.
