My father expired on 19.09.1980 & mother on 01.05 1993, we have 4 brothers & 3 sisters, out of which

My father expired on 19.09.1980 & mother on 01.05 1993, we have 4 brothers & 3 sisters, out of which 2 brothers were bechelor & expired in 2012 & 2019, one brother expired in 2018 left his widow. I am living brother & one married sister . Now my question is who will be the legal heir of my father's property. Please help me. - Prithwis Choudhury, retd. Sr. Manager, PNB
Hello. first of all, let me know are you a Hindu or Muslim? Suppose if you are Hindu, then it's guided by Hindu Succession Act. Presently you, your married sister and sister-in-law are the legal heirs of your father and accordingly you, your sister and sister-in-law jointly inherited your father's property according to Hindu Succession Act.
