Family Settlement VS Deed Partition.

08-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, recently my father obtained his 1/7 of share in the FDP. My father has expired during FDP process. My father has one wife, we are 3 chidren ( 2 daughter and 1 son). I am the son and mother stays with me. I have one elder sister and one younger sister. Both sisters are married and have children. As per the FDP and commissioner report, my father has got 1/7 share of the property. Now I want to know how law divides the properties amongst us. Does it start with my mother first then son, then daughters? Also I want to know who will get the corner property when it is divided among us. Can my sister calim for corner property as their share? What does law says for corner share property allocation.

hi, all 4, i.e., your mother, you and your two sister will get the equal share at one time on the property allotted to your father.

there is no law for getting corner property, you can claim for it and if your sisters also need that, then the mater has to decided by the court again. It is advised to settle the matter amicably
