24-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather has 2 sons, both of them passed away. One son has 2 ( myself and sister ) kids and another one has 3 kids ( 1 son and 2 daughters). since both fathers and grandfathers passed away, what kind of deed grandchildren can do to settle our common land. Now property needs to transfer to 2 grandsons name after division.
is settlement deed can be done as per tamil nadu govt rules?
First, have the legal heirship certificate. With regard to the property, all legal heirs can sit together and can come up with partition as family settlement, and the same can be registered. It is legal. You can divide the property among yourselves amicably.
