Do i need NOC from my siblings , i'm nominee in my mothers will

12-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, Need advise whether I'll need NOC from my siblings if my mother is keeping me nominee (for one flat) in her will. Also, kindly advise whether my mother will require signatures of my siblings in her will as they may oppose the property which she is going to put in my name. Many thanks

The question is whether property that is now with your mother in which she wants to appoint you as nominee exclusively is her own self acquired property or came from your father or grandfather. If it is self acquired then she can put your name in will. That not should be as nominee but as owner after her death. Which will be exclusively yours. She doesn't need anyone's signature if she is sole owner currently as of self acquired property.
