Division of property among children after the death of father

30-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
If a father died prematurely before 2005 leaving behind 1well settled son, 3 well settled married daughters and 2 unmarried daughters (1 dead), how will the property be divided amongst all esp alive UNMARRIED DAUGHTER. Part of the property is Ancestral (farmland) and part self acquired by father (on which house was built by father mostly, and extended by all kids later in life) . The unmarried daughter has no source of income except fields and nowhere to live but father's home. Please advice urgently.

Hello,

1) on the death of father wife and the kids would each have an equal share in the property

2) after the passage of Hindu Succession act 1956 daughters have an equal share in the property

Hope this was helpful.
