Dispute on self acquired property of my father who passed away in 2001

My Father has self acquired house . Since there was no written will , after my father me & my brother gave up our rights to mother & transferred the house to Mother's name. We do have 3 married sisters but we have not made any paper about wave of their rights, they are not interested also. My brothers divorce case is going on since my fathers death in 2001, now case is in final stage in SC. Both are not living with my brother from 2001, wife stayed only @7 months after marriage with us. Last week my brothers daughter & wife filed a case U/ section 8 & O39R1,2 asking for property division equally. Court has sent summon to my mother , brother ,me & my 3 sisters. Pl. let me know what should we do ? And what the law says.
