Children claiming rights on father's property
24-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
My parents are live.We are two sisters and two brothers My parents have given a residential land to sister by taking NOC of my younger brother. Now we both brother on the same line want the division of house in which we both are residing along with parents. This house is in the name of my father he is not agreed to do so.What should we do.
If the property is not ancestral and the self acquired property of your father then you cannot do anything here except request your father to do as per your wish. Your father can dispose of his property in any manner he wishes to. He can even deny you of any right in the property. Hence, it would be best for you to take him confidence and not annoy him.
