17-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandmother has 5 daughters and 1 son .My mother is 2 nd one. She has died on 2005 .My grand mother holds 1 ground which she has got from his father. My father is the brother of my grand mother and my mother married him. Now my grand mother has written the settlement deed for the ground for the 4 daughters alone. she has not given settlement for me and my uncle.my grand mother is still alive. whether the settlemnt deed can be cancelled or any other way to do it. Please help.
You have to challenge the settlement deed by filing a suit at the district court. All the daughters and the son have equal share of your grandmother's ancestral property which she inherited from her father.
