Can sons file a suit if father gave ancestral land only to daughters

28-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Father gave his land to Daughters not sons. It was ancestral property and the land was registered to his daughters before the father died and at the time the sons were not in the picture. Can the sons file a suit after 4 years to claim the property? If so is there any time limitation to file the suit by Sons. How can the daughters defend if the above said claim was to happen?

Yes you can file a suit against the daughters showing the evidence that the property is ancestral property and the limitation is actually three years from the date of your knowledge. If you approach any advocate he can suggest how to file a suit.
